Spice Up Your Summer

Getting bored with your summer look?  Here are some beauty trends to look hot while trying to stay cool!

Teal Nail Polish
Even though the crackle polish continues to tempt me everywhere I go, I opted for something a little brighter this time!  The teal hue really pops against my bronzed skin, and it makes me smile every time I look down because it's not your typical pink-red-orange hue.

Natural Glossy Lips
Summer is all about looking fresh and natural, so I tend to keep my makeup light.  To get some shine and color on your lips without wearing a heavy lipstick, try a lip gloss that is close to your natural lip color.

Fresh Bob
Looking for a change?  A bob is the perfect do for summer because it's chic, easy, and keeps hair off your neck during those hot afternoons!  A bob will freshen up your hairstyle while remaining sexy and low-maintenance.

Feather Extensions
Feeling bold?  Clip in a few fun feather extensions on either side, near the crown, allowing a few natural strands to hide the tip of the accessory.  Opt for a pattern that blends in with your hair color, or go wild and get some neon in there!

Soft Pink Eye Shadow
Pink hues are universally flattering.  Dust a pale shimmery shade along lids, and add dimension with a rosy matte hue in the outer creases.  Looks natural enough for day, and sassy enough for night!

Bronze Glow
Even if you don't have time to travel to the beach this year, it doesn't mean you have to look like it!  Swipe on some bronzer on your cheekbones, forehead, and chin for a sun-kissed look.

Loose Waves
Look carefree and breezy with this tousled, beachy look.  After blow-drying hair, wrap large sections around a 1-1/4 inch curling iron.  Gently brush out once hair cools for that "undone" finish.
